THE CLIENT
Our client is a leading global dental company, well known and recognised as a world class leader in its field of speciality Dental Equipment. In Australia, they are a leading supplier of Dental Equipment providing not only superior equipment but an outstanding level of customer service and support. Their technicians are fully trained to offer exceptional servicing standards on all the products they service or repair.
They are now looking for a Service Manager - Maintenance & Repairs to service the after sales equipment area. Combining your hands on repair ability with your management capability you will lead the team and take the after sales service area to the next level.
To be considered for this role you will need to have experience in either electrical/mechanical fields with the relevant qualifications. At interview you are able to clearly demonstrate your initiative, drive and passion to succeed and the ability to lead the Technical Service department.
Qualifications and Experience for this role -
* A background in leading a team of Service Technicians - Dental of Medical Devices (Restricted Electrical Workers Licence desirable)
* Technically proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of products
* Ability to think strategically and capitalise on new opportunities to add to existing performance - experience with service agreements
* The ability to supervise, lead and develop the daily activity of the personnel with the Service Department & external contractors - strong influencing skills
* Good planning, communication and time management skills
* Have a strong desire for self-development and improvement
* Has a positive can-do attitude
* Strong IT aptitude
