About the role
Part time position - 10 hours
Level 2.1 to 3.1 = $32 to $36 dependent on relevant experience
In this role you will provide initial screens, brief interventions and safety assessments, plus referral pathways as part of case management plans. As well as providing administrative support to the Therapeutic teams.
Administration:
- Provide office support for team and clients.
Client Support:
- providing initial screens, brief interventions and safety assessments
- work with QuIHN Needle and Syringe service to encourage and support clients, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients, to engage in QuIHN Therapeutic Services
Case Management:
- Support therapeutic clients by liaising with counsellors and case managers to ensure case management needs within treatment plans are addressed
- Support clients with welfare needs, housing, education and employment by providing active referral pathways
What we're looking for
Someone who is passionate about their work and the health outcomes of both clients and the broader community and can demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or gaining qualifications, and/or relevant experience in human or community services
- Ability to engage and work with vulnerable and complex individuals and/or families affected by substance use and other related concerns
- Lived or living experience of substance use, and/or a demonstrated allyship with the AOD community will hold merit for this position
- Intermediate competency in the use of Microsoft packages
- Available to work between the hours of 8:30am - 4.30pm, Monday-Friday
- Current Queensland driver's licence (or equivalent)
