EllieB’s Child and Youth Services provides individualised support to children and young people within the child protection space with disability, aged 0-17.
Join our team as a Therapeutic Youth Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people facing challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with children in a therapeutic setting
- Provide emotional support and guidance to help young people navigate difficult situations and big feelings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement client NDIS care plans
- Facilitate therapeutic activities and interventions to promote growth and healing
- Have fun while building meaningful relationships with both colleagues and kids
Role Requirements:
- Certificate IV or above in Youth Work or relevant qualifications
- The ability to work with and support participants with varying and challenging behaviors and complex needs.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current Certificates - First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, Medication Administration, NDIS Workers Check, WWC Check, NDIS Worker Orientation module
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
