Your Role:
As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing reliable, punctual, and engaging support to individuals we work alongside.
- Assisting individuals in increasing their personal independence and exploring new opportunities.
- Supporting individuals in community engagement and facilitating participation in new experiences.
- Helping individuals to live their best lives by fostering personal growth and development.
Non-Negotiables:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or completion of 12 months in a human services-related university degree program.
- Preferably, at least 6 months of experience working as a Support Worker or mentor.
- Possession of a full, unrestricted Australian driver’s license.
- Comprehensive insurance coverage for your own vehicle, which must be reliable and roadworthy.
- Current DCSI clearance or NDIS worker screening.
- Flexibility to work during the day, after school hours, weekends, and school holidays, either in one-to-one settings or group programs.
- Personal attributes: reliable, punctual, friendly, able to use initiative, and a willingness to be active and have fun!
