Are you a passionate and dynamic individual who is looking to work in the therapy space with a diverse range of clients in a growing and supportive therapy practice in regional WA?
Your new role gives you:
- Permanent full-time role (part-time hours also considered)
- Caseload consisting of predominately NDIS funded clients, clinic, community visits, school visits
- Predominately paediatric caseload with some adult clients
- Supervision by experienced occupational therapists also based in Kalgoorlie
- Working as part of an Occupational Therapy team
- Support, mentoring and ongoing training by experienced clinicians
Your duties will include:
- Deliver face to face therapy interventions and programs for clients developed by occupational therapist to work towards clients’ identified goals
- Being responsible for managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic processes in a timely manner
- Evaluating results of therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating participants progress, and implementing recommended adjustments and modifications
- Develop clinical resources to support client goals
- Work as part of a team and independently.
- Participate in regular supervision

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children in school or clinical settings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Very good computer skills
- Desire to develop your skills as a Therapy Assistant
- Ability to work with others, and autonomously
- Friendly and approachable attitude with excellent initiative
- Interest in working with a variety of clients and environments
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Highly Desired
- Experience delivering Therapy Assistant services preferred but not essential
- OR have completed a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance AND are midway through completion of a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
About Beyond Function Goldfields
Beyond Function was established in 2018 and we are an Occupational Therapy service for adults and children in the Goldfields region. We provide high quality services to a diverse range of clients with various disabilities, medical conditions and developmental needs. We are passionate about being client and family centred and increasing access to therapy intervention for our remote indigenous clients.
Our team consists of 4 experienced Occupational Therapists who work closely together, support one another, and share knowledge within the team. This would be a highly supportive environment for a Therapy Assistant and we are excited to expand our team.
