Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in evaluating patients' functional abilities and developing individualized treatment plans.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills, coordination, and daily living skills.
Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance their independence.
Document patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising therapist.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an OTA.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
