Why Your Role Matters:

The Timetabling Officer is a member of the team who produce the UNSW teaching timetables and provide casual booking services for the University’s learning and teaching spaces. This position is responsible for the effective provision of casual booking services to both internal and external stakeholders. The Timetabling Officer will also be required to provide advice and information on the University’s learning and teaching spaces and to support staff and clients with using casual booking systems and processes.

Who You Are:

• Degree and experience or equivalent competency gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to establish effective working relationships.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage conflicting needs and negotiate outcomes.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, accurately and with close attention to detail, to manage workflows, and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver operational services in a high-volume work environment.

• Well-developed critical thinking and analytical skills for problem solving of operational challenges as well as improving or developing new or existing services.

• An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.

• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
