About the Role:
Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in our client's maintenance and construction gauges, ensuring our products meet exacting and compliant standards. This role offers opportunities for development, and a range of challenges to help you expand your skill set and keep your workdays stimulating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fit and assemble tools and components.
- Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and upgrade gauges.
- Conduct equipment calibration.
- Assist maintenance and operations as needed.
Ideal qualities
- Safety and quality compliance focus.
- Practical experience in in general machining and fabricating components.
- Experience in precise measurements and interpreting drawings.
- Trade certificates in Fitting, machining, patternmaking or equivalent.
- Capacity to work independently within a team and communicate well.
Location: Wodonga VIC
Duration: Ongoing
Roster: Monday to Friday
Shifts: 6am to 2pm (possibly flexible for right candidates)
The successful candidate MUST possess:
- Minimum 12 months of similar experience
- drivers licence and reliable transport
- able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- able to pass a medical test
- hold full working rights in Australia
