Cooinda Lodge Kakadu, owned by Kakadu Tourism and managed by Accor, is an indigenous owned collection of wetland cruises, fishing tours, 4WD adventure tours, cultural experiences and accommodation.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Delivering to our guests an authentic Kakadu experience and providing information about local flora and fauna, history, geology, and culture
- Conducting both water and land based tours in a professional and safe manner
- Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and vessels prior to and post tour completion
- Understanding permit requirements for tour operations and ensuring compliance of these conditions
Reporting directly to the Tours Operations Manager, the successful candidate will have:
- Senior First Aid Certificate (must have at the commencement of employment)
- National Police Clearance no older than 3 months
- Demerit point history for the past 10 years
- a current Australian Light Rigid or MR Licence (must have at the commencement of employment)
- H Endorsement Passenger Vehicle License or a willingness to obtain
- Kakadu Knowledge for Tour Guides accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
In this role you will receive a competitive hourly rate as well as free accommodation and meals.
