ABOUT OUR COMPANY:
We are a medium sized consultancy with a presence in Victoria, particularly in the Mornington Peninsula region. Delivering projects across Urban Development from Residential, Industrial and Commercial.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be involved in Planning Assessments, Report Writing, Property Analysis, Development Feasibility, Planning Permit Applications and Planning Amendments. You will be managing several projects at once and liaising with all relevant stakeholders, such as clients and councils. You will also be working alongside our team of Designers therefore knowledge of Architectural Drawings would be preferable.
Possibility to partially work from home following initial trial period.
DUTIES:
- Preparation and writing planning reports for submissions reflecting client needs
- Provide advice on issues relating to applications, proposals and plans
- Be able to manage and co-ordinate External Consultants and liaise with our Internal Drafting Designers
- Be pro-active and assertive in a team environment
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 3-4 Years experience in Town Planning from either Consultancy or Council Background
- Able to manage your own files/applications
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in the areas of responding to correspondence, preparing and writing planning reports
