Duties of an Aston TA/ Mechanical TA:

• Assist Machinists, Welders and Mechanical Fitters
• Assist and learn to work on industrial CNC machines
• Operate machinery including gantry cranes & forklifts to move equipment across the workshop

• Support welders and boilermakers and upskill to become a 2nd class welder
• Spray painting of parts & equipment
• Maintaining health and safety standards of the workshop
• $32 - $38/hr + Super

To be successful you will be required to have:

• 6 months previous experience as a TA
• Must have worked on the tools in a manufacturing plant
• Had exposure to welding, roll forming, machining or gantry cranes
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good mechanical aptitude and wanting to progress
• Forklift licence is essential

Starting Pay Rates:

• $32 - $38/hr + Super | 8- 10 hour days
