Form of work- Have the opportunity to progess into machining or even a trade
- 3 shifts available across morning, afternoon and night shifts
- Penalties and afternoon shift loading (15%)
Join a leading, independently owned steel provider based in Hope Valley. They run a 24 hour operation, with opportunies across all 3 shifts.
The Job:
- Working in a leading steel cutting and supply workshop
- Use of forklift to move various sized sheet metal around workshop
- Learn machining, pressing, rolling and studding of steel
- Must be able to use light power tools and have mechanical aptitude
- $32/hr + penalties
- Start on the morning shift 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Then you can rotate on to afternoon (3:00pm - 11:30pm) and night shift (11pm - 7:30am)
- 15% uplift for afternoon and night shitfts
- Experience as Trade Assistant
- Have a metal background (preffered but not essential)
- Must have a forklift licence
- Can work well in a team environment
