The role
Contact Group is seeking a Trade Assistant / Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Burnie, our desired candidate will participate in and assist with install and maintenance tasks across a broad range of Building Technology products and further assist with both stock control and maintenance of a Trade workshop.

Responsibilities include:  

• Assist with Stock Control and Coordinate Storage 
• Stock movements inwards and outwards including working with our technical teams for materials and equipment coordination.  
• Coordinate Company Vehicle Fleet Mechanical Maintenance and liaise with company staff and mechanics.  
• Coordination of Company Safety Equipment with external providers. 
• Routine inspection of various company property. 
• Trailer, Van and Ute loading and unloading. 
• Workshop and yard clean up  
• Manual handling duties 
• Site Deliveries and pickups. 
• Operation of a forklift around our facility. 
• Participation in in-house training on an as needed basis. 
• Assist with client works, cabling and installation of a wide range of products, for example: Electrical Services, Fire Alarm Systems , Security / CCTV Systems , Audio Visual Systems
• Assist with client works, installation of a wide range of Communications equipment in a wide range of environments and building locations, including in physically demanding environments.

• Ability to learn software based technologies and operate a Computer System or iPad App. 

Minimum requirements:

• White Card
• Current Forklift Licence (Desirable)
• Current police check or willing to obtain
• Working at Heights (Desirable)
• High Risk Licence /EWP (Desirable)

• $60K - $70K:
• Income Protection
• Superannuation 11%

• Flexible working, option of 9 day fortnight.
