The role
Contact Group is seeking a Trade Assistant / Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Burnie, our desired candidate will participate in and assist with install and maintenance tasks across a broad range of Building Technology products and further assist with both stock control and maintenance of a Trade workshop.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with Stock Control and Coordinate Storage
- Stock movements inwards and outwards including working with our technical teams for materials and equipment coordination.
- Coordinate Company Vehicle Fleet Mechanical Maintenance and liaise with company staff and mechanics.
- Coordination of Company Safety Equipment with external providers.
- Routine inspection of various company property.
- Trailer, Van and Ute loading and unloading.
- Workshop and yard clean up
- Manual handling duties
- Site Deliveries and pickups.
- Operation of a forklift around our facility.
- Participation in in-house training on an as needed basis.
- Assist with client works, cabling and installation of a wide range of products, for example: Electrical Services, Fire Alarm Systems , Security / CCTV Systems , Audio Visual Systems
- Assist with client works, installation of a wide range of Communications equipment in a wide range of environments and building locations, including in physically demanding environments.

Minimum requirements:
- White Card
- Current Forklift Licence (Desirable)
- Current police check or willing to obtain
- Working at Heights (Desirable)
- High Risk Licence /EWP (Desirable)
Attractive Remuneration Package, commensurate with experience-including:
- $60K - $70K:
