Our client is one of the largest suppliers of HVAC & Refrigeration products in Australia - they are currently seeking a Permanent Trade Counter-Sales Representative with warehouse duties.
In this role you will work closely with the branch manager and partner with new and existing customers to help them find the best solutions possible within the sites store showroom. This is a chance to expand your customer service and warehouse experience located in Melbourne West.
Please note for this role it will be 70% Customer Service and 30% in the warehouse.
The shift times for this role be Day Shift Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm.
You will be responsible for:
- Counter-sales/customer Sales Representative
- Answering Phone Calls
- Responding to emails
- Quoting potential customers on the products that they are looking to purchase for themselves/their companies.
- Provide product information and recommendations, stock levels and pricing verbally
- Stocking Shelves & Showroom/general housekeeping duties
- Warehouse Storeperson/Dispatch duties
- Receiving inwards & outward goods
- Picking and packing orders accurately & promptly
- Customer deliveries in the company van when required
- Operating the counter-balance forklift in the warehouse (please note if you don't have a license you will not need to operate the forklift)
About You
- Previous Trade Retail Counter-Sales experience - this is essential for this role
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Capable of lifting to 10-15kgs
- General computer skills
- Comfortable being on the phone speaking with customers and existing clients
- Be available for an ongoing - 5 days a week.
- Valid Victorian Driver's license
- Have a strong knowledge of OHS procedures
- Work in a an autonomous environment - this is a small team
- LF Forklift License - this preferred but not essential
