International bank is looking to hire a Trade Finance Manager for its Sydney, CBD branch.
The business emphasises the need for a minimum of two year's experience in Trade Finance.
NOTE: Only candidates with either permanent residency or citizenship will be considered for this role and fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of international settlements including: Letter of credit, documentary collection, bank guarantee & Trade Finance business (short term trade loans included)
- Establish/initiate corporate products in line with the market, developing new relationships and growing the Trade Finance portfolio
- Take responsibility for all aspects of cross-sale relating to Trade Finance clients including corporate and financial institutions.
- Demonstrate a high level of understanding of Trade Finance products which includes industry standards, applicable international rules, as well as local markets, legal and regulatory requirements
- Identify potential clients that require LC and Guarantee, supporting customers with import, export & Trade Finance documentary solutions
- Provide customer relationship maintenance including account opening for new clients, collecting customer information, KYC checks, company searches and AML and Trade Sanctions checks
- Prepare all associated documentation, ensuring compliance to internal processes and controls whilst liaising with internal departments within the bank.
- Deliver regulatory reporting related to Trade Finance
- Liaise with Internal and External Audit teams
- Pre-check export documents, LC and Guarantee draft preparation
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of SWIFT, UCP600/URDG758/URC522, Incoterms
- Communicate with external & internal customers in order to run business smoothly and more professionally
- Manage files and finance statement delivery
Qualifications required:
- 2-3 years working experience in Trade Finance or Import/Export documentary role
- Relationship skills, operational experience and credit knowledge preferred
- Fluent in Chinese and English
- Strong knowledge of Credit
