Are you an ex-tradie or tool or DIY enthusiast looking for a change of pace? If you like meeting people, solving problems and the prospect of building strong relationships with long-term customers, we would love to speak to you.
Whilst retail experience will be highly valued, enthusiasm for tools and workshop supplies, deep knowledge of nut and bolts, along with a positive mindset and proactive attitude is what we value most.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Many of our customers have long-term relationships with us, and come back to us for fast, friendly and efficient service.
Your role will be to help continue to build our reputation by:
- Helping customers solve their problems by providing expert advice and sharing your product knowledge and experience
- Building solid, long-term relationships with customers
- Maintaining presentation of the store and store displays
- Some warehouse duties such as unpacking stock and dispatching orders
- Some lifting required
- Actively keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
ABOUT YOU
Ideally you will have a mix of the following:
- Have worked with, understand, or have a passion for tools and workshop supplies
- Highly focused on Customer Service
- Enjoy meeting people and building relationships with customers
- Have worked in or have an appreciation of working in a retail environment.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, diligent with attention to detail and friendly
- Basic computer skills

- Forklift Licence

- You will be on your feet a lot! We are a growing business and this can be a busy and demanding role
- You need to be available to work rostered Saturday mornings
- You will be required to undertake moderate to heavy lifting and reaching
