As a Trade Management & Client Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day trading activities and all Client Reporting requirements for assigned managed investment schemes and investment mandates.
Role Overview:
The Trade Management & Client Reporting Analyst position within the Operations team is at the forefront of the client experience. The analyst position based in Melbourne, works closely with other members of the team nationally to support the delivery of reporting and as and when required - support new product onboarding activities.
The Operations team is responsible for providing proactive service to clients and their related parties. The role will also provide support to internal stakeholders across the business in delivering client objectives. Responsibilities include:
- Manage trade instructions for all investment managers
- Manage trade settlement, notifying the relevant counterparties of any irregularities
- Identify exceptions and problems affecting investment portfolio records and prices
- Process documentation, ensuring business continuity
- Prepare & deliver all daily portfolio reports
- Prepare & deliver all Client Reporting requests
- Keep up to date with financial services regulations
- Actively focus on process improvement across the operations function
Your Background and Experience:
- 1-3 years experience in Investment Reporting within the Funds Management or Fund Administration
- Experience in Operations or Client Service within Funds Management or Fund Administration
- Proven ability to champion the criticality of quality client outcomes to important internal stakeholders
- Proven Project Management discipline is highly advantageous
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Management/Financial Services or other relevant areas
- Strong working knowledge of MS suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
