Trade Program Assistant
The High Commission of Canada, in Canberra, is looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to fill the position of Trade Program Assistant.
Working in the international business development team of the High Commission of Canada in Canberra, the Trade Program Assistant is responsible for supporting the delivery of Trade Commissioner Services to clients and stakeholders.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Managing the budget of the Trade Program, providing advice to colleagues on actual and forecasted expenditures, and paying invoices;
- Providing administrative support by drafting correspondence, coordinating appointments, data entry and information management;
- Researching information and preparing responses to routine or general requests for information both from Canadian clients and local contacts;
- Providing logistical support for the organization of promotional events, trade shows as well as high level and business delegation visits;
- Deploying the social media outreach of the Trade Program, across a variety of platforms.
