AddressRecruitWest currently has a permanent opportunity for Trade Assistant working for a highly regarded Bunbury business specialising in the Supply, Fabrication, Welding, Installation and Maintenance of Polyethylene and Polypropylene piping systems.
Duties / Responsibilities
Assist in plastic pipe welding, site installation and maintenance
Assist in plastic spool and sheet fabrication
Maintain equipment and tools
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Operate machinery
Employment is based in the Southwest region working Monday to Friday, some weekend and away work may be required from time to time.
On offer is a competitive hourly, paying $28hr to $34hr depending on experience. Overtime is paid on weekends, and allowances are paid for any away work required.
Fulltime employment with training with be on offer for the successful candidate with the opportunity to lead into a career as an industry technician in Poly Pipe Welding.
What is Required?
Current Drivers Licence
Construction Safety Induction
Forklift LF Licence
COVID Vaccinations as per WA Government guidelines
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug screenings
Current Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
