About the Company
This company specialise in the production of concrete pipes & culverts used for roadways, bridges and drainage and have seen a major increase in work out of their Swanbank based yard. They are currently looking for a high calibre Mechanical Tradesperson to take ownership of the business units Mould Preparation & Tooling Work centre and its associated responsibilities.
About the RoleAs a Fitter/Boilermaker or Skilled Trade Assistant you will be required to work Monday to Friday from 5:00am-1:30pm with daily overtime available. You will be responsible to maintain, and enhance the operations of the pipe business. The attributes required for the role are detailed below, but not limited to;
What you will need
Mechanically minded with trade qualifications
Experience working in a precast concrete environment will be highly regarded but any heavy manufacturing environment would suit
Welding experience
High attention to detail and fine tolerances
Mould setup for production of Pipes, Precast and Products area
Capability to weld repair & finish steel mould parts is essential
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in automated mechanical systems and handling equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic control.
Drivers Licence and transport
There is pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing required prior to commencement in this position.
