Based in the Western suburbs of Brisbane and reporting to the General Manager Sales & Marketing Brisbane you will be responsible for the coordination and actioning of tasks associated with European packaging and marketing materials. The Packaging & Marketing Materials Assistant plays a key role in assisting with the company’s image, brand, reputation, quality, and other aspects of the Healthcare division.
Hours to commence would be 5 days per week 4 hours per day with the potential opportunity for the position to become fulltime OR it could be full time from the start. They are open to discussing the possibilities. As part of the role is dealing with Europe and the UK, some late afternoon / early evening hours will be required daily (up to about 7.00pm but the last few hours could be a Work from Home option) ) so potentially it is a role where you start at 11.00am and finish around 7.00pm. There are several ways to structure the hours in the week depending on your needs.
Key duties will include:
- Work closely with the Europe Team of COO and Admin and Marketing assistants.
- Ability to manage projects and drive internal project coordination.
- Interact with relevant Brisbane departments including but not limited to planning, purchasing, admin, NPD, production, quality and the CEO.
- Assist with ensuring regulatory requirements are adhered to in respect of meeting packaging regulations.
- Implement and manage a system of project tracking.
- Assist the London Team with artwork preparation from third party suppliers in Australia
- Investigate and understand UK and European packaging and covenant requirements
- Respond to and manage emails in a timely manner
- Schedule and manage meetings by compiling agendas and taking minutes with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform market research as and when required or requested.
- Design assistance
o Research latest trends of design & Marketing and consult with graphic designer and web developer and arrange promotional marketing materials for conferences and tradeshows
- Assist with the coordination of new product packaging outsourcing the design work following the prepared brief
o Coordination of packaging for new lines, direct communication with packaging supplier, designer, and internal production, updates to current packaging, direct communication with packaging supplier, designer, and internal production
- Social Media
o Assist with implementation of regular social media activity on the company’s social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc
