About the role
Rosebank Engineering is looking for Process Line Operators/Trades Assistants to support our growing Surface Treatment division. We are looking for Process Line Operators/Trades Assistants across shifts. The ideal candidates will be comfortable working on their feet, performing physical labour, focused on meeting deadlines and thrive on continuous improvement activities.
As a Process Line Operator/Trades Assistant you will perform daily tasks such as, but not limited to:
- Assist the team in the manufacture of plating racking and fixtures
- Moving parts and racks around the facility
- Operate components within the production line to perform basic chemical processing tasks in accordance with safe operating procedures
- Unwrapping and wrapping of parts,
- Other non-technical tasks supporting the process team staff
- Ensure the workplace remains is clear and safe before, during and after production.
- Interpret component maintenance manuals and production data to ensure parts are processed in accordance with client requirements
- Complete touch up activities on processed parts
- Maintain accurate records of activities completed
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a professional, friendly, energetic and positive mindset
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Be comfortable following instructions as well as work autonomously
- Adept fine motor skills and a high attention to detail
- Foundation level computer literacy
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
- Working knowledge of Quantum ERP or other typical Aerospace ERP system is highly advantageous
- Highly desirable experience in chemical processing environment
