Our client is an Australian owned, established engineering firm in Wetherill Park 2164. They have recognised the need for an experienced Trades Assistant to work with them for the next 6 months with the view to a long term permanent role for the right person. This roles is paying above award wages plus overtime.
Primary Duties:
Working Safely!!
Able to safely use Grinders, polishers, drills, various hand tools. Work with the fitters and others assisting them with Lathe and Mill work. Assembly of conveyors and other materials handling systems.
Keeping workshop tidy. Spotting and reporting hazards
To be considered for these positions you must have:
Previous demonstrated experience with Workshop, steel work, site / construction work, Previous experience working alongside Welders, Fitters, Machinists / Sheetmetal Workers
White card and Overhead crane ticket and advantage.
All applicants must be either an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
