About Us
Waternish Engineering is a dynamic Adelaide based business working nationally in the water sector. We are committed to a safe workplace that achieves high levels of quality.
Our work, focused on the construction of water infrastructure, offers a challenging use of your skills in brownfields and greenfields applications across water treatment and piping installation.
We have long term work in SA and interstate and are looking to increase the size of our team with skilled and safe tradespeople that are committed to improvement.
The Role
This permanent full-time position will work predominately on site, in SA and interstate, and also in our Lonsdale Workshop, as needed. Some of the core duties of this position are:
- Piping installation and modification (PVC and stainless steel)
- Process and mechanical equipment installation
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- Minor fabrication and mechanical assembly
Works range from metropolitan Adelaide to regional South Australia and regular assignment to interstate projects. Interstate work is remunerated at a competitive rate.
Skills & Requirements
As a minimum you will have the following:
- Cert III Mechanical Engineering OR Trade Certification in Associated Discipline
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Complete a Pre-employment Medical
It is desirable to have the following:
- Dogging and/or Rigging
- MR/HR licence
- Working at Heights training
- Crane - CV/C6 or above
- Scaffolding
- Confined space
- Elevated Work Platform
