About the role
The work is varied and interesting, which means you’ll always be learning and growing.
You’ll report directly to the owner of the business. Initially, you’ll work alongside other team members and eventually, you’ll also be expected to work independently.
What we are looking for
- You will have a good work ethic, an eye for detail, be reliable, work well autonomously and in a team.
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in building or an experienced tradesman.
- White card is essential.
- To have basic tools; nail bag, hammer, tape measure, power tools etc.
- Transport to work (license and own car are essential)
- To be physically fit and capable
- Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in building and a desire to keep learning
- Good communication skills (written and in-person) and a professional approach.
- Proficiency in all types of building maintenance and repairs - including plaster repairs, painting, metalwork, brick repairs, rendering, waterproofing etc. (carpentry is just a starting point).
- Previous customer service experience is well regarded.
- 2 recent work references
