Job description

Job Description: We are looking to hire a tradesperson to fulfill a dry Fire Technician role within our team. We are looking to hire someone for an immediate start (but we can be flexible on timings). Whilst dry fire experience is preferable, training may be provided for the right candidate. This position is a full-time, ongoing position, working 38 hours per week.

Our office is located in Five Dock, but our technicians are usually only required to come in once or twice per week to collect stock & keys, so this role could suit technicians located anywhere in Sydney.

Job Requirements:

  • -          Valid driver's License
  • -          White card
  • -          Previous construction / trade experience – Experienced in use of hand & power tools
  • -          Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • -          Organised, Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and efficiently
  • -          Positive attitude and pride in your workmanship with a strong attention to detail
  • -          Excellent problem-solving skills
  • -          Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Not Essential but Highly Regarded:

  • -          Previous experience as a Dry Fire Technician or similar role
  • -          Knowledge of fire suppression systems and relevant regulations
  • -          Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards.
  • -          Proven experience in fault finding and installation work.
  • -          Yellow card preferable, but not essential (Scissor lift license)
  • -          Previous trade experience

Your duties may include:

  • -          Install, inspect, and maintain dry fire suppression systems in various settings
  • -          Conduct regular testing and maintenance of dry fire systems to ensure optimal performance
  • -          Troubleshoot and repair any issues with dry fire systems
  • -          Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
