The Opportunity
ACCIONA are now looking for a Traffic Supervisor to join our Brisbane Move Team. Reporting to the Traffic Manager and Traffic Technical Officer you will assist in in the management of the implementation of the Daily traffic Management requirements in particular, temporary traffic works and onsite traffic operations including surveillance, maintenance, inspections and reporting to ensure successful delivery of the Project.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum current Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) qualification in Queensland, experience in managing the implementation and removal of Traffic Guidance Schemes, installation of roadside barriers and incident response.
Required Skills and Competencies
Some of the key responsibilities are:
- Oversee and inspect the implementation and maintenance of short-term and long-term traffic guidance schemes (TGS) to ensure project compliance
- Undertake all required surveillance inspections, create reports and provide support to temporary traffic management operations
- Provide incident response to the project area (including identification, respond and record incident details)
- Conduct maintenance of traffic control devices
- Coordinate any traffic control resources and equipment
Competencies we are seeking:
- Proven experience in a similar role in Traffic Management
- Traffic Management Implementer (TMI) MUTCD certified
- Large road infrastructure traffic management experience (long term signage, barriers, linemarking etc)
- Strong organization skills with a focus on good communication and stakeholder management
