As the Project Traffic Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of traffic management on this significant project. Key Responsibilities:
Traffic Coordination: Lead and supervise multiple crews daily, ensuring seamless traffic management operations that align with our client's program.
Expert Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to project and site crews, ensuring strict adherence to traffic management plans and schedules.
Audits and Compliance: Monitor the implementation of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs), conducting meticulous daily audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all traffic management queries and issues, fostering effective collaboration with project stakeholders and subcontractors.
Safety Leadership: Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential hazards, and champion a culture of safety through toolbox talks and safety meetings.
Document Control: Maintain accurate records and documentation of all traffic management activities, including incident reports, toolbox meetings and audit findings.
Key Role Requirements:
Local Presence: Reside within the Gold Coast area,
Experience: Minimum of 5 years' combined experience in Construction and Traffic Control industries, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role on medium to large-scale projects.
Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of traffic management principles, regulations, and standards, including TMPs and TGSs. TMD ticket is highly advantageous.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to project and site crews.
Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple crews, and meet tight deadlines without compromising safety or quality.
Certifications: Hold relevant qualifications and certifications in traffic management and/or civil construction, including QLD - Stop/Slow, Traffic Management Implementation, Construction White Card, and a valid Driver's license.
