Train Drivers Assistant, also referred to as a Second Person, out of Mossvale, NSW.As a Second Person, you are a
Train Driver's second pair of eyes and ears on the track, keeping an eye on signals and an ear out for radio communications, as well as performing shunting, train preparation, inspections, and more. As a Second Person, you are also on track to being signed off as a fully qualified
Train Driver in the rail freight industry.
About you:It all sounds great doesn't it, so what do we expect of you?
- If you have rail experience that's great, if not that's ok too, we just need you to be safety-focused, enthusiastic, and passionate about learning!
- If you already hold the relevant qualifications, you can skip the theory and go straight to work!

- Availability to commence training on 13th May 2024
- Must be able to attend 5 weeks training, located in Mossvale
- Experience working in heavy vehicle/industry environments, as well as experience doing shift work will be advantageous
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks including Psychometric Safety Testing, CAT 1 medical, physical assessment, and ongoing D&A screens
- Ability to complete a National Police Clearance
- Provide current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 or be willing to obtain prior to starting training
- Must hold a valid FULL C Class Drivers Licence
