Family Based Care Tasmania is seeking a full time Trainee Administration Officer, on a 12 month fixed term contract, to join our Administration Team located in Burnie. This is an Entry Level opportunity in Administration while completing a Certificate III in Business Administration.
This Trainee role includes, but is not limited to, greeting and assisting clients and visitors, answering a high volume of telephone calls, photocopying, data entry, maintaining files, and providing administration assistance to support the business.
To be part of our Team you will need to:
- Have a current National Police Check suitable for employment with an Aged Care Provider.
- Working With Vulnerable Persons Card (this should be endorsed as ‘employee/volunteer’ with NDIS worker screening endorsement.)
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (2 + 1 booster)
- Be friendly and outgoing with a good phone manner and professional presentation.
- Be capable of providing excellent customer service.
- Commit to learning new skills, through a formal course of study, and to applying those skills in the work environment.
- Have some experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Be eligible to enrol and complete a Certificate III in Business Administration.
- Have a strong work ethic.
