SalaryGround Science South West is currently seeking a Full Time/Part Time & Casual Trainee Construction Materials Engineer to complement their current team of skilled technicians.
The role is to conduct Construction Materials testing, engineering field tests and other appropriate Australian and Vic Roads standard test methods with training provided on the job.
The suitable candidate will be enrolled in nationally recognised Cert III or IV Laboratory Techniques course.
The position is available for our North Geelong facility (Regional Victoria), overtime and weekend work will be regularly available.
To be considered for this position you need to have the following;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic
- Able to work in a team environment with the ability to work unsupervised
- Good attitude with a willingness to learn
- Self-motivated
- Current White card (Can be obtained during training)
- Current Victorian manual driver’s licence.
- Flexible work hours offered, compressed 4 day work week.

Above industry remuneration ($50,000 - $70,000) will be commensurate with the right qualifications and experience as per Manufacturing & Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2010 ref MA000010.
