SalaryWe are a home technology company representing a prominent national home builder. We require a trainee technology design consultant to advise and prepare the lighting and technology layouts of new homes. This includes power & data points, home automation, theatre and other packaged systems for which you will be trained to advise and add to the home. Clients would be seen at a modern design studio in Robina.
The ideal candidate should have lighting design sales experience and be familiar with the housing construction process. They should have an interest in the lifestyle and energy efficiency benefits of home automation technology and a strong desire to learn more about this exciting industry. We are also involved in designing and implementing technology in housing for NDIS participants. This role could involve the design of such systems.
The ideal candidate will be conservative in appearance and manner and have the communication skills to determine the wants and needs of the client. They should be able to convey the technical concepts of the products and services involved in plain language.
The ideal candidate will be motivated and will be trained in the MarkApp design & job management system.
We are willing to consider individuals who may have some of the above skills and experience but are from allied industries and are strongly motivated to learn. Flexibility hours or a part time role will be considered to the right candidate.
