Individual Support and Short Courses

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a permanent trainer to join our MAX team. This role is Permanent Fulltime covering courses Monday to Friday.

You will be delivering Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care and Disability) to assist students who are beginning or wanting to further progress their career paths in these industries and may also providing training to students completing short courses at MAX.

• Be able to impart not just the theory, but real-life stories of workforce experiences

• You will enjoy taking the time to communicate a message in different styles and approaches to ensure your message is received by a range of learners

• And skills to engage, support and empower students to gain the qualification

About you

• Hold current and up to date TAE40116 including TAELLN411 or 401A and TAEASS502 or 502A or 502B
• Must hold a minimum of a Cert III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged or Home and Community) & current experience in your industry to share skills and knowledge with new students in this field
• Be a driven, supportive and community minded person, able to work with a range of learners to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learning
• Experience in delivering work ready skills and digital literacy training
• Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area
• Relevant qualifications and industry currency (please place your currency on your resume for reference)
