About the Role
We need passionate and dynamic trainer/assessors from all Melbourne suburbs for the following courses:
- HLTAID009 Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
- HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
Multiple roles available including 1 x part-time position (3 days a week) (Please outline in your cover letter if you are interested in part-time)
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of course content in accordance with LivCor curriculum
- Provide a high level of customer service consistent with LivCor organisational values and objectives
- Passionate about quality First Aid education with the ability to contextualise the training experience for our varied corporate clients
- Communicates effectively with administrative staff to ensure course requirements, i.e., course, student numbers, location, start/finish hours/duration
- Confidence in communicating with people at all levels, both internal and external to the organization
- An active team member, attends and participates in team meetings, and professional development opportunities, as required
- Confident and adaptable in ability to learn new IT concepts, including online teaching, assessment and communication tools
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and achieve both short term and long-term objectives
Essential Skills & Experience:
Applicants for this role will require:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education (or equivalent).
- Qualifications and experience delivering First Aid, CPR, and other related qualifications
- Industry experience in First Aid
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Ideally you will also have:
- AHPRA Registration (well regarded)
- Tertiary qualifications in nursing, paramedicine, or a related discipline (well regarded)
- Experience with a range of training delivery methods including blended delivery, classroom-based delivery, work-based delivery, online delivery, and distance learning
- Knowledge of Moodle, or experience with other online learning platforms and applications
