We are seeking a leading trainer in Bankstown. You will have the opportunity to provide innovative training and assessment services to a range of students. Excel College Australia welcomes applications from Trainers and Assessors who meet the below selection criteria and are available to deliver and assess one or more of the following training package qualifications: 

• English Language Intensive

Management

of Management (Learning)

• BSB42105 Certificate IV in

Leadership & Management

• SIT30821 Certificate III

in Commercial Cookery

• SIT40516 Certificate IV in

Kitchen Management

• SIT50422 Diploma of

Hospitality Management

• ICT60220 Advanced Diploma

of Information Technology

• BSB50420 - Diploma of

Leadership & Management (or willingness to study)

Key selection criteria Essential 

•  Relevant qualifications, experience and industry currency in the area that is being   trained and assessed.
•  Vocational qualifications equivalent to and/or above what is being delivered
•  Demonstrate experience in vocational education and training
•  Demonstrate ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Strong level of interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge, understanding and commitment to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
• Should be flexible working with face-to-face and online 
• Valid or ability to hold Working with Children’s Check.
• Able to provide Professional Development evidence.

You will be responsible for:

• Program planning and operations.
• Delivering training
• Conducting assessment
• Industry engagement in Commercial Cookery
• Monitoring and reporting on academic progress
• Skills and experience 

Applicants MUST address the following SELECTION CRITERIA as part of their application:

1. Experience in training in the VET sector in the area of baking
2. A relevant Industry qualification and links with employers
3. Demonstrated understanding of training packages and units of competency
4. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE40116
5. Experience validating assessment and learner resources
6. Demonstrated adult learning/education and training experience
7. High level communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
8. Advanced computer literacy/experience with MS Office
