Main duties and responsibilities
Deliver training and assessment in accordance with policies and processes, ensuring compliance with RTO standards 2015, government contract requirements and customer service agreements.Undertake pre-training procedures including student enrolment, ID check, USI check, language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) assessmentsDesign and develop appropriate training materials, such as course structures, session plans, training documentation, procedures and supporting resources facilitator guides, learning and assessment activities.Assist with planning, coordinating and scheduling training, and monitor and report regularlyProvide input to the ongoing review and improvement of learning resources and assessments based on stakeholder feedback and Contribute to internal audit processesContribute to quality assurance processes for learning resources and assessments.Develop and deliver other short courses, accredited and non-accredited programs as requiredWhat we need you to have to be successful in this role:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education Evidence of current industry skills and knowledgeEvidence of recent and relevant professional development in VETExperience designing and delivering education and training programs for Indigenous adults for whom English is not a first language and literacy and numeracy skills are lowDemonstrated ability to apply adult learning principles, creativity and innovationDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a teamDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Current Manual driver's licence (or ability to obtain)1. Experience or the ability and willingness to live in a remote area community
