Duties:

• Responsible for delivery of training, assessments, and competency-based activities across the scope of drill and blast
• Conducting Verification of Competency as per the Training and Compliance Procedure
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership team to improve training materials and processes at sites.
• Foster a positive learning environment and support trainees through their development.
• Liaison with Project Manager and Training Superintendent

You will need:

• Good computer literacy – MS Outlook, MS Word and Excel
• Certificate IV TAE40116 Training and Assessment or equivalent
• Accuracy and attention to detail in record management
• Sound knowledge of Drill & Blast equipment and processes
• Aptitude to understand manufacturer's manuals and handbooks
• Strong communication and rapport building skills
• Comfortable with LMS systems and tablet technology as a training and assessment tool
• At least 4 years in a mining environment
