A role within the Warehouse Operations team tasked with the training, mentoring, and productivity assessment of team members including leadership roles. Reporting directly to the Manager of Operations the position will be responsible for the development and delivery of company training modules covering all aspects of the Warehouse Operations, including but not limited to new hire onboarding and refresher training. The trainer will also support the leadership team ensuring company policies and procedures are followed while in training.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, flexible, and relevant training sessions
- Provide one-on-one tuition as required and regular checks on new employees ensuring regular progression and completion
- Provide one-on-one tuition as required and conduct regular checks on new starters ensuring regular progression
- Maintain effective communication between key stakeholders
- Facilitate individual and group learning activities to an agreed schedule
Education
- High School diploma or GED
To be successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria;
- Certificate III in Warehousing (or equivalent)
- Vocational competencies, current knowledge, and skill in DC operations
- Currency in your field of expertise
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- High-level communication skills
- Proficient computer skills; PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Professional aptitude and well presented
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Passionate about training and driven to see team members excel by the achievement of their goals
Further to the above the following criteria are considered highly desirable;
- Experience with different types of Fork Trucks and unlicensed MHE
- Sound understanding of RF and WMS
- Demonstrated understanding of procedure development and documentation
- Sound knowledge and experience in WHS
- Current First Aid
- Training experience preferred
