Lead our new starters onboarding experience through establishing and executing training plans focused on the job skills required for various roles within the Australian Funerals business. Play an integral part in providing feedback in relation to the learner's competency and capability. Work closely with leaders to support capability uplift where needed.
Bring your deep understanding of the funerals industry to transform and modernise learning, with the creation of learning experiences that focus on national standards and enhanced learning experiences for all participants.
Reporting to the Learning Manager, the Development Coach will onboard new team members ensuring successful induction and learning outcomes with a focus on exceptional technical and customer service delivery standards to transform and modernise the learning experiences of AU Funerals. This will ideally be face to face to replicate what occurs on the job and provide technical knowledge and support for the Australian Funerals business.
You will establish and execute training plans focussed on the job skills required for the various roles within the funerals business. You will analyse and identify the performance, skills, knowledge and needs of a targeted audience and work closely with the Learning Manager to create learning experiences that focus on national standards and an enhanced customer experience. You would play an integral part in providing feedback in relation to the learner's competency and capability.
Skills, experience and qualifications required for this role include:
Essential
- Deep funeral industry experience and knowledge with emphasise on front line exposure
- Ability to transfer knowledge in a systematic and logical format
- An understanding of modern adult learning practice and methods
- Proven Leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate people
- Strong facilitation and delivery skills with the ability to mentor new employees
- Available to travel to, and work at other InvoCare sites
- High level of written and verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels
- The role requires a progressive thinker with strong alignment to InvoCare's values and the ability to empathise with vocational and caring based values, while appreciating the commercial values that drive innovation and sound fiscal management.
- Experience with learning technology, primarily Learning Management Systems (LMS) is desirable.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment qualification or willingness to complete it.
