Harness Energy RTO 40521 is one of Australia's leading Registered Training Organisations specialising in the design, delivery, and management of training solutions. Harness Energy operates training facilities in Brisbane, Gladstone, Perth and Papua New Guinea. We also deliver and manage on-site training and Labour Hire for some of the largest companies and projects throughout the world. We specialise in training and assessment and Labour Hire for the Construction, Mining & Energy Resources, Oil & Gas, Engineering and Logistics sectors.
About the role
These roles will join the Harness Energy team reporting directly to the Operations Manager in Perth – Belmont. You will be responsible for delivering and developing quality training to our clientele in line with provisions in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) 2015 and relevant company policies.
As part of our training team, the key focus for this role will be to deliver some or all of the courses listed below (if qualified to do so)
- Work Safely at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Operate and Maintain 4wd
- First Attack Fire Fighting
- First Aid
- Load Restraint
- Telehandler
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for training and working with learners, employers, and industry stakeholders. The course delivery model will be classroom based in Perth with the potential for some offsite training. Learners may differ from more experienced industry workers, career starters and young job seekers.
Mandatory Requirements for Training and Assessing
Must Hold:
- Hold TAE40122 / TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR TAE40110 (including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent; OR hold Diploma TAE;
- Industry experience in safety and training
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills;
- Experience in supporting learners with LLN challenges;
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision;
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- Continuous improvement mindset
