Exciting new opportunity for a Training Administrator for the CHPP at Collinsville Mine on a 9-day fortnight working 10-hour days. Accommodation and meals provided. Drive in, Drive out.
The responsibilities for this role include:
- Implement the Training Scheme
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure compliance with current legislation and Glencore policies
- Maintain training systems, standards and techniques
- Assist in the development and review of on-site training packages
- Develop and maintain of the department’s training skills matrix
- Participate in the development of the Annual Training Calendar
- Develop, implement and maintain training safety systems and processes onsite
- Assist in the internal evaluation of training programs, packages and assessments to determine effectiveness of training provided
- Collaborate with external training providers
- Help guarantee the site training records database remain current and readily accessible
- Develop department Training Needs Analysis and Training Skills Matrix in preparation for shutdowns
- Other duties as requested by Senior Training Coordinator
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current Standard 11
- Strong knowledge in coal mining
- CHPP experience - preferred
- E-Learning software experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proactive approach, with the ability to work without supervision and make independent decisions.
- Extremely organized with attention to detail
