About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Training Systems Administratorto work in our Health, Safety and Training team for a permanent position at our Curragh Mine site, near Blackwater.
You will join our team as a crucial member, reporting directly to the Training Superintendent. Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and offering daily support for various internal training applications, predominately Learning Management Systems (LMS). You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our mine's training programs and assisting the Training Superintendent in managing site Training Systems, records, and training and development initiatives.
Your role will be rewarding and varied and will include:
- Demonstrated understanding of the national training and qualification framework, occupational licences, and registered training organisations.
- Ensure understanding and compliance with site Training Scheme and the Safety and Health Management System (SHMS).
- Provide technical support and coaching to operational departments on system functionality and resolve issues they encounter.
- Administer the training system, including user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, user progress, and completion statuses, and generating reports as needed.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify areas for system enhancement and implement upgrades or new features as needed.
- Continually seek opportunities to enhance the training system and its effectiveness.
What You'll Bring
- Proven track record high level of record management
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience with building e-learning activities and courses for the LMS
- Demonstrate good time management skills and have a strong work ethic
- Hold a good understanding of Recognised Standard 11 Training in Coal Mines
