Rate: $65 - $70 per hour
Manage the Training and Engagement activities. Develop and undertake communication and marketing activities to raise awareness about the Government Departments broader community education function with external stakeholders.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage, plan and coordinate the office-wide Training and Engagement program including the development, monitoring and improvement of systems associated with the administration of the program and its day-to-day operations; provide a high quality customer service; negotiate training to meet customer needs as well as providing support to and negotiating the delivery of workshops with internal or contract trainers.
- Provide expert strategic advice and support to the Chief Operating Officer, Director, Enabling Services, Training and Engagement Manager, and at times, other senior officers on trends and issues relevant to the Government’s Department external training program.
- Provide strategic advice and support including expenditure updates and estimates to deliver and expand Training and Engagement education programs and other initiatives; establish and maintain effective relationships with both contracted and Government’s Department’s staff trainers to ensure the quality delivery of training.
- Perform quality assurance on Training and Engagement materials and provide support in the development and review of tailored, new, and existing training programs.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Customer Success Officer and Learning Management Officer providing constructive feedback and technical expertise, modelling, Training and developmental support.
- Develop and undertake communications and marketing activities associated with the promotion of the Training and Engagement program.
- Take responsibility for delivering high quality customer-focused services
- Research and analyse information, identify interrelationships and make recommendations based on relevant evidence
- Participate and contribute to reviews of progress, outcomes and future improvements
- Collaborate on the establishment of clear performance standards and deadlines in line with established performance development frameworks
- Be flexible, show initiative and respond quickly when situations change
