The core capability requirements for this role are:
• Manage and contribute to the development, accreditation, facilitation, evaluation and moderation of a diverse range of training programs and strategies relevant to Protective Services.
• Coordinate training and development deliverables for a variety of projects in consultation with internal and external stakeholders relevant to Protective Services.
• Provide advice and assist with organisational change management activities relative to legislative amendments, changes in technology or business practices relevant to Protective Services.
• Lead a small team in the coordination and delivery of multiple training and development packages to Protective Services.
• Conduct training needs analysis to facilitate the provision of expert advice to management concerning training and development relevant to Protective Services.
• Design evaluation, feedback and quality assurance frameworks to gauge the effectiveness of training and development activities and implement processes and procedures for continual improvement within Protective Services.
• Represent the Protective Services at internal and external forums and prepare and present reports, briefings and submissions on the implementation of training and development strategies and activities.

While there are no mandatory requirements for this role, possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or accredited tertiary qualification in adult education would be highly regarded.
