Roster: 4D/3R - FIFO ex Perth or Residential
As a Training Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and competence of our rail workforce in Port Hedland. From coordinating rail training to maintaining rigorous safety standards, you'll be at the forefront of fostering a culture of excellence and compliance within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive rail training programs
- Monitor and update training standards for the Hedland rail network
- Provide hands-on support through face-to-face classes and Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments
- Develop, implement, and uphold safe work procedures, prioritising a culture of safety awareness
- Lead the development and oversight of procedural systems and processes in line with company and legislative requirements
- Conduct regular inspections and task observations to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain meticulous training and safety records to ensure compliance standards are met consistently
- Coach and mentoring responsibilities to the trainer and assessors
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Essential)
- Proven experience in auditing and compliance
- Background in rail operations with a focus on competencies within the industry
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Current TAE40116 or TAE40120 certification
