About the Role
Based in vibrant Hawthorn, we're looking for a Training Manager to manage all training requirements for our network of stores and National Support Office. The primary objective of this role is to equip all stakeholders with the knowledge, practical skills, and motivation needed to excel as sustainable and adaptable leaders in retail. What will you do?
As an experienced Training Manager, you will be responsible for the development, planning, coordination and delivery of all learning and development programs and tools that support the business, including the management and coordination of the learning academy, and the management of their state-of-the-art LMS.
Reporting into the General Manager - Retail Operations, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating, maintaining, and updating an effective induction and mentoring program
- Maintaining an up-to-date resource library of learning modules and tools
- Evaluating training activities and reporting on return on investment
- Responding to strategic direction by delivering required training and support to achieve business strategy outcomes
- Managing compliance and record-keeping requirements through the company LMS
- Identifying new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and development
About You
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and/or tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Significant experience in delivering retail-based training programs
- Instructional design skills with an ability to adopt new forms/modes of delivery
- Exceptional organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in developing high-quality correspondence and presentations
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Confident public speaker
