ATC Work Smart is a well-established Registered Training Organisation (RTO), offering a comprehensive range of nationally accredited and non-accredited training courses from the Great Southern to the Midwest regions.
As the company undergoes significant growth, we are seeking an experienced Training Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the RTO, including building a cohesive team culture whilst driving new and existing industry partnerships to fuel further growth for the business.
We are seeking a seasoned industry professional, ideally with leadership experience or someone eager to step into a leadership role. Your familiarity with regulatory requirements, government funding models, compliance standards, and industry best practices will enable you to instill a culture of quality within the organisation.
Your passion for building meaningful professional relationships, coupled with the ability to forge connections and partnerships aligned with the RTO's strategic direction, is crucial. A strong commercial acumen will empower you to identify opportunities and navigate risks effectively. Most importantly, you should be comfortable navigating both strategic and hands-on operational aspects of the role.
Key responsibilities
- Direct supervision of the RTO team, including administration and trainer roles
- Ability to build high-performing teams with a strong and cohesive culture.
- Professional knowledge of the current RTO standards and experience working with the VET regulator (TAC) and the WA Department of Training and Workforce Development
- Previous experience in performing and/or leading a sales function.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, industry associations, and government agencies.
- Collaborate with the Business Manager to recruit, select and induct new RTO staff as required
About you
- Experience working in a Registered Training Organisation
- The ability to positively engage with people at all levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel within the Perth and South West region as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and an ability to learn new systems quickly.
- The ability to obtain a Working with Children Card
- A current ‘C’ class motor vehicle drivers' licence
