Job description

The International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) is a professional membership body located in Byron Bay. We are a member-centric business and are looking for a Training Provider Services Specialist to join our growing team of 19.

At IICT, we love what we do and we care about our people too. With a vision to “Recognising and Elevating the Global Impact of Complementary Therapists”, we are proud to be celebrating 21 years of supporting this vision.

We value fun, contribution, belonging and accountability. That means no micro-management (we trust our team to make decisions and learn from their mistakes), we have daily huddles; fortnightly planning and accountability days, quarterly strategy sessions and annual offsite retreats. This makes for a real work/life balance and the opportunity to nurture what you’re passionate about and enjoying external and internal fun days each quarter. You can check out our company values and learn why we do what we do by visiting our website: https://www.myiict.com/about-us/.

At IICT, we are a performance-based company. We are not clock watchers – you’ll be responsible for keeping track of your time and getting through your work in a dedicated and accurate manner. Responsibility and accountability are a must, we all make mistakes but how we own up, show up and ask for help are key to our collective success.

The Training Provider Specialist role

The Training Provider Specialist role focuses on working with sole traders, schools, and colleges who offer Complementary Therapy courses to students around the world. In this rewarding role, you’ll be supporting providers by getting their courses certified by IICT for professional membership and insurance.

At IICT, no two days are the same. In this dynamic role, there are daily tasks such as helping our Training Providers on the phone and by email through our CRM, HubSpot and Microsoft 365. You’ll also be conducting industry research, creating content, reviewing incoming applications, providing advice and recommendations to ensure the success of our Training Provider’s businesses and supporting our Membership Services Team.

Is this you?

You’re highly organised with a very good eye for detail.

You have exceptional written communication skills.

You are able to work independently and have an ability to work in our team – you will need to be able to work on your own and make decisions but you will get full on the job training from our team to help get you started.

You’re a motivated self-starter with exceptional organisational and time management skills – you like getting things done in record time and don’t mind digging deep into data to achieve great results.

You are proactive and a problem solver – admin for you is like numbers are for accountants, you’re obsessive in finding simple answers to complex systems.

You can multitask and keep calm – our business is growing and evolving at the moment so the ability to jump from task to task is vital to your success here.

You have strong technical skills and can adapt to new processes quickly. We have a stable technology platform but we are building more as we grow so the ability to take on new technical skills is required. An adaptive, flexible mindset is vital.

Skill set requirements

Experience in Mac OS.

HubSpot CRM and/or solid experience with another CRM

Experience in Word, Excel, Outlook (Microsoft 365)

Internet research to validate Training Provider enquiries and information

Ability to handle phone enquiries (in a friendly and calm manner)

Data entry and management skills

Knowledge of internet payment systems: Stripe and PayPal

The ability to multi-task and keep track of what you’re doing at all times

Hours

This is a full time position for a 12-month minimum commitment. Once you’ve completed 6-months with us, you will be moved to a salary and a 4-day work week. Yes – you read that correctly! Work life balance is very important at IICT. We believe we can accomplish just as much in four days as we can in five days – if we’re happy in our lives. There are copious amounts of research on the four-day working week and we’re proof of it in action.

After 3-months of working at IICT, we will do a review of your performance. We will also conduct a survey where you can provide us with feedback and you’ll have the opportunity for further advancements throughout the year.

What are you waiting for?

If you tick the above boxes, have a growth mindset and are a team player who can think on their feet, we would love to hear from you. We offer constant opportunities to up-skill, flex your creative muscles and participate in project management to find a sweet spot for your knowledge and experience.

If you are successful, you’ll receive a full on-boarding, the support of an experienced team and all the tools you need to succeed. An appreciation of (and experience within) the Complementary health space is a big advantage. A Cert IV in Training and Assessment is also a bonus, but not compulsory.

To apply, please go to https://www.myiict.com/careers/ and followed the process outline for this role. Applications sent via seek only will not be considered.
