THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the WHST Manager, we are seeking a professional Training Superintendent to oversee our Training team and provide advice, planning and support for our various operations.
- Assist and facilitate development and review of training plans
- Prepare and plan growth and improvement opportunities for the Training Teams across the business
- Play a key role as part of the management team in the implementation of a positive, safe, and productive culture in the workplace
- Be visible and provide mentoring and leadership to your teams
- Work collaboratively with your team to develop and maintain efficient and productive processes across the operations
- Actively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by example
ABOUT YOU
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior or Superintendent Training role within the resources sector
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly desirable)
- Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline (desirable)
- Ability to be flexible and work across all our Operations including our Corporate office
- Proficient computer literacy
- Experience in establishing and maintaining training components through training learning management systems
- Interpretation and comprehension of WHS legislation and regulations
- Proficient Microsoft office skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships with your team
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
