The Transport Coordinator will ensure products move seamlessly from the wharf to the customer. As the key contact with all 3PL transport providers, you will utilise your influencing and negotiation skills to ensure customer delivery timeframes are met in full and on-time without damage to the material.

Key Accountabilities:
- You will work collaboratively with other internal teams providing them with key transport milestone updates and identifying potential risk where appropriate
- Provide solutions to customer problems, and provide quality customer service to retain and engage the customer base
- Coordinate, track and communicate effectively on service delivery requirements
- Forecast and allocate orders to logistics suppliers ensuring cost containment
- Ensuring appropriate customs clearances and communicating delivery instructions

About You:
- You have an understanding of budgeted versus actual spend for transport activities is desirable
- Previous experience in the transport / logistics / supply chain industry in a similar position is looked upon very favourably
- A great internal and external collaborator with fantastic stakeholder management skills, providing solutions to problems where appropriate
- A detail-oriented individual who meticulously processes data and keeps systems up to date
- Support organisational objectives through supporting the business in securing cost-effective and reliable transport solutions
